Switchboard provides information, support, and referral services for lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, and trans people—and anyone considering issues around their sexuality and/or gender identity. |

The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) National Help Center is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that provides vital peer-support, community connections and resource information to people with questions regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity. |


Human Rights Campaign is the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization. They offer an abundance of resources for LGBTQ people and their families, including helpful information about coming out. |

OutServe-Servicemembers Legal Defense Network is a national, non-profit legal services, watchdog and policy organization dedicated to ending discrimination against and harassment of military personnel affected by “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and related forms of intolerance. |

PFLAG is the nation’s largest family and ally organization. Uniting people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) with families, friends, and allies, PFLAG is committed to advancing equality through its mission of support, education, and advocacy. |

Straight Spouse Network provides support and resources for straight men and women whose spouses have come out or who suspect their spouse might be gay, lesbian, or transgender. They also offer resources for the whole family. |
