Help Us Support Lambda Legal

In today’s political climate, it is vital that we both fight to preserve what rights the LGBT community has won and continue working toward the goal of full equality. To help support those who are already doing this work, we have decided to donate 50 percent of all net proceeds from the sale of Fashionably Late in February to Lambda Legal, the nation’s oldest and largest legal organization fighting for the rights of LGBT people. Our goal is to raise at least $1,500 by the end of this month.

Bridging Voices to Perform at Our Book Launch

We are pleased to announce that Bridging Voices, Portland’s gay-straight alliance youth choir, has agreed to perform at our book launch party on October 11! These are kids on a mission to break down the foundations of homophobia and transphobia through their diversity and visibility. In support of their mission, we will be donating a portion of all book sales at the event directly to the choir.

Check out the video below to learn more about the amazing ways Bridging Voices is helping build a better future for LGBTQ youth.

We’re on IndieBound

Save the Date for Our Book Launch Party

The word PARTY printed on clothespin clipped cards in front of defocused glowing lights.

We are pleased to announce that our book launch party will be held on October 11 (National Coming Out Day) at 7:00 p.m. in the historic and beautiful Adrianna Hill Grand Ballroom in Portland, Oregon. The Adrianna Hill is the home of Portland’s first pride celebration in 1971 (two years after the Stonewall riots). It is also the home of Mildred’s Palace, Portland’s underground gay youth disco. What a perfect place to celebrate the release of our book!
